We stand against systemic bias, racism, and unequal treatment

A message from our Managing Partner

As a minority-owned enterprise, our firm is profoundly dedicated to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business. With the recent inexcusable deaths of our fellow Black Americans at the hands of law enforcement, we are filled with an array of emotions from sorrow to anger and hopelessness. While we cannot truly understand the depth of frustration felt by our Black neighbors and friends, we do know racism, and inequality when we see it. The killing of George Floyd is only the latest chapter in a disgraceful history of unequal treatment of Black people in the United States, and it should offend every member of our human race.

Our CALincentives family prides itself on being compassionate, and now is the time more than ever for us to demonstrate that to each other and the world around us. We will continue to nurture a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone has an equal shot to grow and thrive. We must condemn acts of violence, discrimination and injustice against the Black community—while also making thoughtful efforts towards empathy, kindness, and unity.

Let me be crystal clear: CALincentives stands against systemic bias, racism and unequal treatment at work, in our communities and in our great country. But despite our efforts and good intentions, things must change. We don’t have all the answers and know that there is plenty more to do. Our hope is that by focusing our efforts inside our firm, with clients and other business leaders, we will be able to contribute to the change that is needed.
